Chavouli, Sagrida, Fanaraki

Three wonderful beaches, one next to the other, with exceptional sands. In Fanaraki, there is a tavern and a beach bar and if you are sports lover, then volleyball net is waiting for you. Nearby Fanaraki, sandhills with thorny burnets and bushes, rocks with lakes formed inside their cavity, compose a geological panorama that you never see enough of it.

Kotsinas

It constitutes one of the most family beaches of the island, with notes of tropical atmosphere. Plunges and sports in swallow waters of the beach and also, taverns with delicious snacks and fresh fish will make you spend your time fantastically.

At the forgotten wharf, the statue of the local heroine Maroula, which stands imperious, and the church of Life-Giving Spring will offer you another one picture of the beautiful island.

Beach of Thanos

It is distinguished, popular and trendy. The heart of tourist season beats here: innumerable rental rooms, taverns, cafés, straw parasols, wooden tables, deckchairs, music choices in mainstream situations, but also nudism –if that’s what you want- in a special beach.

Platy

It constitutes one of the most beautiful sandy beaches –very close to the city- that gathers most of the people. The area is developed touristically more and more. You may enjoy with your family the beach with its parasols, deckchairs, beat bars and sea sports.

    Mikro (Little) & Megalo (Great) Fanaraki

    Two amazing beaches, after Moudros. Their great rocks look like a huge cave and according to fishermen, there, if you are lucky, you may meet seals. Enjoy the feast of colors, the succession of sceneries and the area’s volcano rocks.

    Keros

    Keros constitutes an extraordinary beach, of about 5km, with sand dunes, between the two lakes of the island and right in the middle of the fertile plain. The village Kalliopi lies close to it, where famous horse racings are held on the feast day of Saint Georgios.

    Beach of Chavouli. As you return from Megalo Fanaraki, turn right on the sign towards Chavouli, in order to go to another one beautiful beach. As you descend, you may see on the left the hills planted all over with cactus and Indian fig trees, while little further down, at the camp on the left of the earth-road, the place is full of figs.
